EKÖP and EKÖP-KDP
The objective of the University Research Scholarship Program (EKÖP) is to facilitate the recruitment of new teachers and researchers for higher education institutions and new researchers and developers for innovative Hungarian companies, while also engaging the most talented students in talent management within higher education. The programme's scholarships support excellence in higher education by assisting students and young lecturers and researchers enrolled in bachelors, masters, or doctoral programmes who are conducting successful research at a higher education institution.
The aim of the University Research Scholarship Program Cooperative Doctoral Program (EKÖP-KDP) is to further increase the number of employees in the field of research, development, and innovation—primarily in the MTMI (mathematics, natural sciences, engineering, and information technology)—who wish to enhance their professional knowledge with the latest scientific research results and are committed to the social and economic utilisation of their knowledge. The programme provides support to those conducting research at a workplace outside of higher education, in addition to their doctoral studies, thus promoting the practical application of their scientific results.
